Your color work is, as others have pointed out, quite impressive -- but the anatomy -- you see, when a bowstring is drawn, the elbow of the draw arm goes straight back, so that the forearm is on the same line as the arrow's direction -- from the angle we're seeing your character, then, we wouldn't see the draw arm jutting off to her left, as it would mostly be concealed behind her body -- w/ the point of her elbow visible on the right side, behind her...

Also, her grip on the bow is very weak-wristed -- bows are generally gripped w/ the hand held straight, in line w/ the forearm -- just my observations...

It's right that you do your observations, but I do not know much about bows, so I took reference from a photo as I wrote under the drawing... if you do not like how I draw, I'm sorry! : aww:

Ahh, yes, I see -- Briar 3 -- indeed, you recreated her pose properly -- in that respect, a very good piece -- the fact that the model is holding a bow improperly is not your fault -- I retract my previous comments...

This is an amazing drawing, and very well-made, the only bad thing is her pose, she's holding the bow in a wrong way and in the wrong hand, I searched for the reference picture and they did the same thing, so i guess it's not your fault :) I hope you aren't angry at me, but it really bothers me:) anyway beautiful work with colors :)

The bow is not in the wrong hand for a lefthander. ;)

But you would not let the arrow slide between the first and second finger - just looking at it makes my fingers hurt.

that's not quite true either. you can draw the arrow between the fingers and have it as a measurement, just like a clicker just take the finger away before you shoot. In terms of the archery I thought the elbow is sticking out far too much and she's gripping the bow so she'd probably have a bruise on her arm at the end.

However, amazing drawing, I love the colours and especially the lighting.
